Artist, Robert Deyber to debut series of sixty hand-crafted during February 2008 grand tour.

Greenwich, CT – Artist Robert Deyber will be on tour throughout the United States beginning in San Francisco on Thursday, February 7th.  One man exhibitions of his work will also take place in Los Angeles, Newport Beach and La Jolla, CA, Boston, MA, Oakbrook, IL, New Orleans, LA and Dallas, TX.

Shows will feature new original acrylic on canvas works by the artist as well as his first series of hand-signed limited edition prints.  Measuring 11 3/8 x 11 ¾, these stone lithographs were hand-crafted in Paris by the uncompromising lithographer, Art Estampe, who relied on a centuries old printmaking tradition to create fine quality works that were faithful to the artist’s vision.  A 65 page catalogue featuring an essay by acclaimed art critic, William Zimmer, as well as color photos of these works has been published and is now available.

Considered a ‘visual raconteur’ or storyteller with a paintbrush, Robert Deyber, has artistic roots that hail from the Surrealist movement. He considers René Magritte and Salvador Dali among his heroes.  His works contain unpredictable imagery, rich humor, and roiling skies that also identify with the Hudson River School of the 19th century.

Deyber’s career has taken him around the world. His collectors include singer/songwriter, Tom Petty who commissioned him for his latest album cover, independent film producers, well-known screenwriters, designers, senators and corporations.
