Martin Lawrence Galleries, a national company headquartered in Greenwich with galleries across the country, will exhibit and sell the art of leading contemporary artists at SoHo in Greenwich, the upcoming spring luncheon and fashion show. The event is to take place on March 10, 2004 at the Armory on Mason Street and will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Fairfield County.
Martin Lawrence Galleries will exhibit an extensive and eclectic group of contemporary artworks during the event and will donate a portion of any sales to the JDRF. The artists to be featured include Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Alex Katz, Erté, Richard Burlet and more. A wide range of artistic styles and price points will be featured.
A unique feature of the SoHo in Greenwich art exhibition is that guests are invited to preview the artwork of the featured artists on the internet prior to the event. Guests may purchase any art at the exhibit or on the website before, during or after the Soho in Greenwich event. Martin Lawrence Galleries has generously expanded their commitment to JDRF by extending the purchasing and donation period for the artwork beyond the event itself to April 10th.
Martin Lawrence Galleries, one of America’s foremost publishers of contemporary fine art prints and sculpture, represents a number of today’s most popular artists from around the world, such as Fanny Brennan, Erté, Kerry Hallam, Liudmila Kondakova, Thomas McKnight, and Bruce Ricker.
